As well as offering the SAP service for newly constructed dwellings, SCT Energy Assessments can also provide SAP ratings and Energy Performance Certificates for dwelling created under a material change of use/material alteration. SCT undertake calculations to prove compliance for certain types of non standard domestic extensions, such as those with high areas of glazing or alterations to existing dwellings where achieving certain thermal construction is difficult. SCT Energy Assessments carry out stand alone U-value calculations following the conventions in Building Research Establishment (BRE) BR 443.
